 REELAB is actively contributing to several public and private alliances with the development of the Plug in Electric Vehicles infrastructure including the Rocky Mountain Institute, Get Michigan Ready Working Group and the Michigan Public Service Commission Plug in Electric Vehicles Task Force.
 

   

   

   

Welcome to REELab Online.  
We are at the dawn of a new chapter in our industrial history: The clean energy economy.

The U.S. Government has promised to spend $150 billion over the next decade creating 5 million new green jobs1. Michigan alone can create more than 60,000 jobs by investing in wind, solar, bio-fuels and energy efficiency2. This scenario drives a peaking demand for training centers where tens of thousands of workers can receive their Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE3) instruction.

To assist first Michigan and then the US with such high training demand, REELab has developed an educational system to train:

Professionals transitioning into the clean energy sector

Students entering the clean energy work force

Anyone interested in home or business upgrades with energy efficient and alternative energy systems (on and off-grid).

  What is the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE3) initiative?
 Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RE3) is our holistic approach to clean energy. RE3 follows a logical sequence of events in the greening of our energy systems: start with energy efficiency first and follow with renewable energy.

Before jumping into a renewable energy system purchase for your home, business or commercial facility, it makes greater sense to increase the energy efficiency of your building.

The Renewable Energy Education Laboratory (REELab) is ready to help your organization

Our goal is to become the strategic partner for all your renewable energy and energy efficiency education and training needs. We are a group of engineering professionals who have developed a sustainability strategy designed to:

Assist the State of Michigan Green Jobs Initiative with career migration and re-hiring of displaced workers from the automotive and other industries affected by the economic recession

Expand current and future cleantech educational services across the U.S. and internationally

Prepare students, educators, professionals and home/business owners for the demands and challenges of the emerging clean energy economy
